Terms of Use

1. Parties and scope

These terms are between you and Mandoo Studios (Mehmet Akif Sayım, Istanbul, Türkiye). Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these terms; they distribute the app through their stores and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. The stores' own terms apply separately.

2. The service

Dosemio is an app that tracks and reminds you of the medications and vitamins you enter. Optionally, it lets a family member (caregiver) you link with an invite code see your dose status and be notified if you miss a dose.

Pro membership includes features such as cloud backup, restore across devices, and caregiver sharing. The scope of Pro is shown on the purchase screen and may change over time.

3. Medical disclaimer

Dosemio is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app only tracks and reminds you of what you enter. Consult your doctor or pharmacist about all decisions regarding your medication.

Timely delivery of notifications cannot be guaranteed: device settings, battery saving, internet connection, operating system restrictions, or service outages may delay or prevent reminders. Do not rely on the app as your only safeguard for taking medication.

In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

4. Your account and responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for the security of your account.
• You may not transfer your account or use someone else's account without authorization.
• You may not use the app unlawfully, in a way that disrupts the service, or in a way that infringes others' rights.

5. Caregiver connections

Linking with a caregiver is your decision. Once linked, the caregiver can see your medication schedule and dose status. You can remove the connection and withdraw sharing at any time. Share your invite code only with people you trust.

6. Pro subscription and payments

• Pro is a subscription that renews for the length and price shown on the purchase screen. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; you must cancel it separately in the store settings.
• Refunds are subject to the relevant store's refund policy; the store, not us, processes the payment.
• If your subscription ends, Pro features (including cloud backup and caregiver sharing) stop. Data stored on your device is not deleted.

7. Cloud backup

With Pro, your medication and dose data is stored in your account as a single, current backup; each new backup replaces the previous one. When you sign in on another device with the same account and the data on the two devices differs, you choose which copy to keep; the copy you do not choose is replaced.

We do not guarantee that backup will work without interruption or errors. For important data, we recommend keeping your own records as well.

8. Privacy

How your personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy. These terms should be read together with it.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its name, logo, and content belong to Mandoo Studios. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal use. You retain the rights to the data you enter.

10. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account in the app at any time; your account and associated data are deleted. We may restrict or terminate access to your account if you breach these terms.

11. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of or inability to use the app, or from missed or late reminders. This limitation does not affect your consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract or our liability for intent or gross negligence.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will announce material changes in the app or on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection jurisdiction rules, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes.
